LAUREL CANYON DOG PARK

Enter any park with caution, just remember it is the irresponsible owners to beware of, not the loving dogs. Every dog has a right to a good life and it's so sad that one bad owner turns a dog bad and everyone stereotypes the pitbull breed and fears it when in fact it one of the most loving breeds on the planet. Be cautious of yappy little spoiled dogs and their yappy spoiled owners. They are the ones to approach with caution!

Unfortunately, I am confirming Mary E.'s review. Over the last year I have heard of a number of dogs being killed by pit bulls at this park. I have more than 2 fights break out where the pit bull was the aggressor. When confronted, the owners were hostile and continued bring their pits to the park. It's frustrating, as this is the closest off-leash dog park in the area. My dogs love the exercise and play time. We are currently searching for a new park. Enter this park with caution.

Be cautious when you take your pet here as a dog was killed by a pitbull recently and the owner fled and supposedly was arrested. This park has had several complaints on Craigs List about owners with very aggressive dogs attacking other dogs. So BE CAREFUL!
