Meet: Frank

Frank came into our household at the end of February of 2008 as a year-and-a-half old adoptee. He is a jack russell terrier/chihuahua mix that looks very much like a diminutive jack with big attentive ears. He is extremely affectionate and friendly with people, cats, dogs, children, though a bit easily distracted. He loves playing with other dogs, especially running. He is interested in play dates with any animal that is playful and energetic. Frank fits right in with our family; calm, cool, and collected, we wonder when his inner jack will take over and play for hours (two months later now we've found that the jack rises up when he is with other dogs, free and unleashed). We love him dearly. He is bright and a quick learner, but hasn't learned to type just yet. Besides being part lapdog, he loves to sit in the sun and sleep. Frank has a good memory and, like my husband, always continues to surprise me.

A little over two months getting settled in and he has attempted to hide his ball. Sneaky guy runs to where I cannot see and quickly digs. The Jack is coming out.
