Meet: Tye

I am a two and a half year old male Chihuahua. My hobbies include spending my days chewing on my rawhide bone, playing fetch with my toys (Recently I've taken on the love of playing fetch with socks too, dirty or clean... it makes no difference to me.), and going for walks in my stroller. I am a real people and animal watcher, but I prefer doing it from my stroller where I can inch my way all the way back to the very back corner if I get scared (I tend to get scared easily, but let's keep that between us... I want people to think I'm brave)! I live in Porter Ranch with my mommy, daddy, and four brothers. I get along very well with my siblings, although when mommy and daddy take me outside Dib Majnoun who's a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix (He weighs almost 21 times my weight.) can get a little bit to affectionate so mommy and daddy have to be careful when I'm around him, and then Spanky who's a mutt...well he has control issues and can be bossy but he doesn't act like that towards me... mommy says "Thank goodness"! Patches (I think he's my nicest and most gentle brother.) is a cat... but he thinks he's a snake...always slithering around and trying to hide in the bathroom sink...it doesn't work though because he's a little over weight and quite obvious (Shhh, don't tell him I said that!), and last is Pumpkin (We call him Boogie because he always has nose boogies.)... are closest in age and we get along fine except for the fact that he and I have to compete for who's mommy's bigger baby. As you can see I love my family very much and without a doubt they love me!

The Day I Came Home

One day when my daddy was on vacation out of the country, and grandma was home sick, my mommy got this wonderful idea to go drive an hour and a half to go get me without anyone knowing. When my grandma and my daddy finally saw me, grandma was not really happy because my mommy was still living in her house, and daddy was REALLY not happy! However, when grandma and daddy saw me, and saw my beautiful big green eyes, my perky and alert ears, and the cute white heart on my head they instantly fell in love with me too. Daddy wasn't to mad at mommy... he married her two years later.

My mommy and daddy like to take me out in my stroller whenever they can. One day we were at Venice Beach... I was sitting in my stroller with my blankies, sporting my rhinestone collar, and people kept starring and talking to me, and then commenting to my mommy and daddy that they needed to go home and make a baby! I don't know what they were talking about, people were saying I'm the most spoiled dog they had seen and that they would switch places with me... I don't consider myself spoiled, just loved and well taken care of!
